I Told You – Gold Closes Above $1000 For 1st Time Ever

For years I’ve been telling everybody that gold was going to $1000.  I’ve been saying it since gold was in the $400s.  Well, today, it finally happened: Gold closed above $1000 an ounce. 

To everybody who thought I was a naive true believer: I TOLD YOU SO!

The Wall Street Journal has commemorated the event with a story in Friday’s paper on the front of the “Money & Investing” section: “Gold’s Standard: $1000” (subscription required).

And for those of you who wonder: Is it over?  Am I too late?  No: I predict $2000 gold in the next 3-5 years.
