Apple To Report After The Close
“Apple, Google, Amazon have all had big moves. But if Apple misses tonight, the party’s over.”

It looks like a pretty slow day.
While fires rage in Southern California and Turkey announcing that it will pursue diplomatic options before sending troops into Northern Iraq, stocks appear set for a mild day.
The only thing of real note, to my mind, is the fact that while the Dow and S&P are up mildly, the Nasdaq is up strongly, illustrating continued tech strength and leadership.
The big event is Apple’s report of fiscal year 4th quarter earnings after the close today. Analysts are looking for sales of more than 2 million Macs and more than 1 million iPhones, in what will be the first full quarter of iPhone sales.
